There's never a category where I quite want my stuff to go, it seems... oh well.

During HAM today, discussing Arthurian legend, I had this bizarre need to try and draw the Fortune boss from Persona 3. Given that I do not remember the Fortune boss particularly well beyond the fact that I thought it looked like a mechanical horse and was a rather interesting and abnormal boss fight all around, one thing led to another and I wound up with a mechanical horse.

My favorite part of this drawing is that it's rendered completely on lined paper. ^_^

Which also reminded me that I still need to find my old mech-horse Cantemon picture for Twilight, since it apparently no longer exists on my computer hard drive. Gragh.

Awww, I saw the title and got my hopes up. ;P Sweet mechquine, though.

I've had Persona 3 sitting on my shelf since my birthday last year. Along with Soul Nomad and the World Eaters. Man, I need to sit down for a month or two in front of the PS2 and do nothing else or I'm never going to catch up on this backlog. I haven't actually *finished* a PS2 game since KH2. My DS and PC are eating up what little game time I have...

Ha, right! I forgot that you saw that part. Freaking timing...I finally did beat that thing. Or was that the part you watched? Have you seen someone else play it at college?

Add it to your list of games to play when you get out of school :P

I watched the battle against Chariot and Justice, actually. I bought the game myself and I've been playing it when I go home, though. The last thing I did was fight Fortune and Strength-- fun battle, once I figured out how to work the roulette.

And by 'figured out', I mean 'stopped paying attention, closed my eyes, and hit the button when it felt right'. It worked out far better than when I was trying to figure out how the roulette itself worked.

I remember that you two were complaining about the Lovers boss. Dear god. DEAR GOD.

HAY another Persona 3 fan. Yay! You've got such a ways to go -- that game is such a timesink.

I tried the 'close eyes, hit button at possibly appropriate time' thing, and it still failed, because that battle hates me.

Yes. Lovers boss = teh suck. Also, if you've ever read TvTropes: "The Computer is a Cheating Bastard." Meaning that you can't charm anyone in this game, essentially, but the computer can usually charm you...

Actually, I've had phenomenal luck charming a lot of the Master of Tartarus bosses. The last one (three, technically) I fought, my entire strategy basically hinged on "Sexy Dance and pray". It worked marvelously.

You're talking about those horseman bosses, aren't you? Yeah, they're easy to charm -- because I think it's the way you're supposed to do it. The others aren't that easy, at least in my experience. ><

Yay, Sexy Dance and prayer!

The horseman, yeah. I also killed some other group of irritating enemies the same way; also, using Tentarafoo to panic a group of those relic things at one point in time so they would stop shooting lightning at me. >.<

Of course, my Sexy Dance personae also has Charm Boost on him, so it helps quite a bit.
